This grilled cheese burrito wraps bold, cheesy fillings in a golden, crispy tortilla. It’s the perfect blend of burrito comfort and grilled cheese crunch.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- ½ cup water
- 1 cup cooked rice
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 tbsp butter
- Optional fillings: diced tomatoes, lettuce, beans, jalapeños
Instructions
- Brown Beef: Cook beef in skillet until browned. Drain, then add seasoning and water. Simmer until thick.
- Mix Filling: Combine beef, rice, sour cream, and cheese sauce in a bowl.
- Assemble Burritos: Spoon mixture onto tortillas, top with shredded cheese and extras.
- Roll Tight: Fold and roll into burritos.
- Grill: Heat butter in skillet. Grill burritos on all sides until golden and crispy.
- Serve: Let rest briefly, then slice and serve hot.
Notes
Add jalapeños for heat or swap in beans for a vegetarian version. Great for freezing too.
