This easy Cream Cheese Crescent Roll Appetizer features a savory cream cheese filling wrapped in golden, flaky crescent dough. Perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8-count)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup chopped mushrooms (optional)
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp poppy or sesame seeds
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat to 375°F and line a baking sheet.
- Mix Filling: Combine cream cheese, mozzarella, mushrooms, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape Dough: Cut crescent dough triangles in half.
- Fill and Fold: Place filling in center of dough, fold over, and pinch to seal.
- Add Toppings: Place seam-down, brush with egg wash, sprinkle with seeds.
- Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly.
