Description

This easy Cream Cheese Crescent Roll Appetizer features a savory cream cheese filling wrapped in golden, flaky crescent dough. Perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped mushrooms (optional)
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp poppy or sesame seeds
  • 1 egg, beaten


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat to 375°F and line a baking sheet.
  2. Mix Filling: Combine cream cheese, mozzarella, mushrooms, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shape Dough: Cut crescent dough triangles in half.
  4. Fill and Fold: Place filling in center of dough, fold over, and pinch to seal.
  5. Add Toppings: Place seam-down, brush with egg wash, sprinkle with seeds.
  6. Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly.
