Ingredients
- 2/3 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 2 large cold eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 15 Halloween Oreos + 5 crushed
Instructions
- Prep the Pan: Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the Base: Melt butter, oil, and sugars until smooth.
- Whisk Eggs and Vanilla: Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, until glossy.
- Add the Dry Ingredients: Fold in cocoa, flour, and salt just until combined.
- First Batter Layer: Spread half the batter into the prepared pan.
- Oreo Layer: Arrange 15 Oreos over the batter.
- Final Batter & Topping: Cover with remaining batter and sprinkle crushed Oreos on top.
- Bake the Brownies: Bake for 30 minutes until edges set and center slightly underdone.
- Cool and Slice: Let brownies cool fully before cutting into squares.
