Ingredients
- 1 tsp ceremonial-grade matcha powder
- 1 tbsp dried kelp (finely chopped or powdered)
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger (grated)
- 1/2 tsp dried yuzu peel or lemon zest (optional)
- 1 cup hot water (just under boiling)
- 1 tsp raw honey (optional)
Instructions
- Sift the matcha powder into a bowl to remove clumps.
- Pour the hot water over the sifted matcha and whisk until smooth and frothy.
- Stir in the finely chopped kelp and grated ginger. If using, add the yuzu peel or lemon zest.
- Optionally, sweeten with raw honey to taste, and enjoy the drink warm.
