A delicious twist on a classic favorite, these Brown Butter Rice Crispy Treats are nutty, chewy, and totally irresistible.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 10 oz mini marshmallows
- 6 cups crisped rice cereal
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Brown the butter over medium heat until golden and nutty.
- Stir in marshmallows until melted.
- Add vanilla and salt, then fold in cereal.
- Press into greased 9×13 pan.
- Cool and cut into squares.
Notes
For extra fun, stir in mini chocolate chips or drizzle with caramel.
