Description

This creamy pumpkin whipped feta dip blends feta, Greek yogurt, and pumpkin puree with honey and thyme. It’s smooth, savory, and slightly sweet, perfect for fall parties or snack boards. Serve it chilled with crackers, toasted bread, or veggies for a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz feta cheese (block in brine)
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 12 tbsp honey (plus extra to serve)
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme or 1 tsp dried
  • 23 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend feta and Greek yogurt until smooth.
  2. Add pumpkin puree, honey, thyme, and black pepper. Blend again until fully combined.
  3. Transfer dip to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes to thicken.
  4. Before serving, top with extra thyme, walnuts, and honey.
  5. Serve with toasted bread, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Notes

  • Use full-fat yogurt for best texture. Sheep’s milk feta gives a sharper flavor.
  • Chilling helps thicken the dip, don’t skip this step.
  • You can prep this dip a day in advance and garnish just before serving.
  • Maple syrup can be used instead of honey. Add a pinch of smoked paprika for spice.
