Ingredients
- 1 package (16 oz) phyllo dough, thawed
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups whole milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
- Powdered sugar or icing glaze for topping
- Chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch pan.
- Crinkle each phyllo sheet and place in rows.
- Drizzle with melted butter and bake for 20 minutes.
- Whisk eggs, sugar, milk, and vanilla.
- Pour custard over baked phyllo and bake 30–35 minutes.
- Let cool. Drizzle with icing or dust with powdered sugar.
